Old World Map Maker - Make Your Own Explorers Map
Use Old World Map Maker to make your own Old World Explorer Maps. Such maps were used by explorers in the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries and actually hindered explorations (in some cases) because of their inaccuracies and their depictions of sea monsters (that played into the fears of the sailors). Today, they serve as colorful and dramatic reminders of how far we have come world since advent of satellites and advanced mapping techniques.
